comme des garçons collaborates with fornasetti for spring/summer 2017 collection

comme des garçons homme plus have teamed up with fornasetti to create a strong and graphic selection of garments. the pieces were presented for the first time in paris during the spring-summer 2017 comme des garçons homme plus show ‘naked king’. the collaboration features tailcoat jackets enhanced by some genuine plastic elements, tailored jackets, matching pants and shorts as well as cotton shirts, all printed with fornasetti artworks.

fornasetti‘s distinct prints and charming motifs have been applied to different pieces with playful dots and graphic patterns. bold bursts of reds and subtle shades of saturated tones highlight and reveal different layers of the garments which feature detailed illustrations. the reinterpretation of iconic symbols play upon the humorous and ironic themes associated with the italian company adding a lighthearted and mischievous spirit to the collection.

the collaboration with comme des garçons homme plus will be exhibited at the fornasetti store in milan from the 22nd of february 2017.
