‘gigogne’ is a small set of tables presented by fornasetti as part of milan design week 2010 at spazio fornasetti. for these designs, it was the desire of barnaba fornasetti to create particularly simple and modern shapes that could be used as a coffee table, stool or bench. this ensemble set is the result of such an endeavour and will be available in two patterned variations. these include the ‘strumenti da disegnio’ (drawing instruments) and a deconstructed print of ‘tema’ (theme), the iconic fornasetti face.
