sohei arao, founder of japanese design and architecture studio sides core has designed ‘frames’ chair. its structure consists of 4 frames, each of which have been made from a single piece of steel flat bar which has been bent into the shape of a square. slightly curved for ergonomic reasons, each of the frames articulates flow by employing front and rear torsion. the chair shows its different sides of material by the successive twisting of its frame.
