the body of each piece is crafted with thin metal wires which meet to create a structural crown supporting the flat light source. the bulb itself is completely transparent and when turned on, the light spreads an equally both half up and down. available in four colors; from chrome to red and yellow, the resulting simple yet elegant form makes the plane lamps versatile in most environments.

‘we were inspired by the light source material, it is completely transparent and works as a lens to spread the light. we wanted to let the technology be the a strong feature of the design so we created a simple grid to hold the light plane in place.’front
