beauty of brass: ghidini 1961 present their latest collection

milan design week 2018: in the frescoed rooms of palazzo visconti di modrone the furnishings and brass objects of ghidini 1961 are displayed. a vase, an armchair, a console and a dining table, each room has its own sparkling object and each object is made in collaboration with great design names.

 

 

presented as part of salone del mobile, 2018 marks the passage of a larger scale for the ghidini 1961, from tableware and accessories to living spaces. new pieces are characterized by the combination of brass and fabric presented and defined by a great formal freedom. a reference for the processing of brass at large, in all its declinations, each piece expresses its vocation. among them estudio campana presents the STICKS collection, two holders, one for a candle and the other for a flower, both inspired by natural form; andrea branzi’s vase-basket, a three-piece series in polished references sacred rituals of the ancient tribal tradition; and intricately weaved steel rods form tomek rygalik’s family of tables.
