giant baby trump balloon takes off before heading north, following US president to scotland

a 6 meter high, inflatable version of donald trump is to be flown in the skies over london’s parliament square during his visit to the UK. the orange blow up baby comes with the US president’s signature hairdo and expression, and complete with tiny hands and a cellphone clutched in one of them.

UPDATE: protesters in scotland want to bring the trump balloon north to greet the US president when he makes his way there during his visit to the UK. more than 11,000 people have signed a petition posted on wednesday to allow clearance for the baby blimp to be flown near the president’s turnberry golf course. the possibility of it actually happening is unlikely right now however. the scottish police have refused the requests of the protestors so a necessary intervention by government officials would need to occur.

‘donald trump is a big, angry baby with a fragile ego and tiny hands,’ reads the crowdfunder campaign, organized by a group of activists who want to make sure that the president is greeted appropriately during his time in the UK. in fact, the campaign has been so successful, that the group is now planing to follow trump as a form of protest throughout his entire world tour, ‘haunting his diplomatic engagements wherever he goes.’

the giant inflatable is the work of british activist leo murray, one of many engaging in the creation of anti-trump in protest of the US president. him and team of protestors behind the inflatable will still plan to board the sleeper train to glasgow and travel to turnberry. as reported by the guardian they have already ordered sufficient helium to pick up en route to power the weekend’s activities.
