giulio iacchetti: ape aperitivo set for alessi

‘ape’ aperitivo set  by giulio iacchetti for alessi

italian industrial designer giulio iacchetti has developed ‘ape’ aperitivo set for alessi‘s 2012 collection. the seven piece assortment consists of a bowl and spoon for mixed nuts, a container for olives, a toothpick holder,  a bowl for chips, a waste receptacle and a wooden cheese board. comprised mostly of thermoplastic resin and stainless steel, the aperitif system creates a neutral backdrop of various heights for a dynamic landscape of food. the individual components can be placed one into the other for practical and compact use.
