aiming to push the limits of fashion and design, andrew kostman presents ‘HELIUM-10000’, the first inflatable helium jacket imagined to literally float above its owner’s head like a balloon. designed in italy and made in japan with the help of local craftsmen, the new outerwear piece is resistant and lightweight thanks to its ‘top secret’ material, and is available for purchase in a wide selection of vibrant colors.

at first glance, ‘HELIUM-10000’ by andrew kostman may look like any other stylish puffer jacket. although it can always be worn normally, it is made to be filled with helium and float in the sky, like a party balloon. users can hang on to the attached string and take their colorful flying jacket on a walk, while a branded helium cylinder is included in the packaging to ensure multiple reloads.

only 100 ‘HELIUM-10000’ pieces will be produced to be purchased at a starting price of 10,000 USD. the limited edition garment is available in six different color options — rainbow N, gold, vanta, rose, ice and silver — catering to any style and preference. apart from the jackets, the designer has also unveiled the ‘fury rocket’ related accessory, a wireless bluetooth music box inspired by ‘HELIUM-10000’, showcasing a miniature human grasping the iridescent floating jacket and spinning in slow motion.
