‘fruit bowl’ sofa by hiroomi tahara for yamakawa rattan

produced by japanese manufacturing company yamakawa rattan, milan-based designer hiroomi tahara has created the ‘fruit bowl’ collection, which each design recalling its namesake. says tahara, ‘please enjoy placing various combinations and arrangements of cushions on this sofa as you do with a fruit bowl.’

handmade with rattan, or synthetic material for outdoor use, the sofa’s material and shape suggests a simple interactive form. the collection includes an accompanying low table and poufs with multicolored cushions.
