‘holmen couch’ by kristian knobloch for kallemo at 2013 stockholm furniture fair

developed for swedish furniture manufacturer källemo, german designer kristian knobloch has presented his latest work at the stockholm furniture fair. ‘holmen’, the triangle shaped upholstered platform rests on a construction made of solid birch with four wooden legs, three in the corners and one in the centre as boards connect the legs between each other. three down filled back cushions lean against the four legs that hold the upholstered seating platform and divide the space into three separate compartments. up to three people can share the created space.
