the ‘cosmos’ toy series is the latest in huzi design’s growing number of bespoke wooden objects. with a set goal to avoid embellishment, electronics, and plastic, the design team instead aimed at loading each piece with imagination and simplicity.

patented magnets pop up to snap together, just like real world locking mechanisms

each ‘cosmos’ toy begins as a solid beech log, which is then machined at precise angles and proportions. patented magnets are embedded within specially crafted slots, then each is sanded by hand and given three layers of top coat. the ‘cosmos’ collection are made to last, both physically and aesthetically, in order to form lasting memories for adventurers of any age. find ‘cosmos’ now on kickstarter.
