‘indian stretchable time watch’ by hyphen for filter

indian industrial designer prasanna sankhe of creative studio hypen, has sent us images of ‘indian stretchable watch’, or ‘ish watch’ for short, a timepiece that depicts the culture’s mentality of time with dark humour. the face of the wristwatch has the numbers slightly shifted from their usual place, making it difficult for the viewer to tell exactly what time it is. the prefix ‘-ish’ gives the time periods a visible ambiguity. the watch is available exclusively through filter.

    rainnie says:
  • this is stupid…no one in india says ‘..ish’ when refering to time. infact i hear it a lot in england..

    indian says:
  • very cute concept, but I have to agree that I have never heard of anyone use \”ish\” in india, it is more a western thing
