within his furniture design program at hongik university, korean student hyukjoon choi developed a shelf. reconsidering standardisation, he wanted to express that a human being is stored in the society and system.

a human being is stored in repeated life and social system. so he or she is standardized as a member of society. therefore, the designer created shelves which offer an experience to realize that people live like machines in the standardized pattern.
