I.D.E.A: pig speakers

‘pig speakers’ by I.D.E.A.

japan’s I.D.E.A. has created a new set of free-standing speakers that resemble cute little pigs. available in white, black, gold, or pink, the ceramic objects have a built in circular speaker in their bellies and an audio jack where the tail would have been to connect your ipod or mp3 player.

  • shame the connecting lead isn’t curly like classic land-line telephones.

    eyeball says:
  • where can you buy this ??

    lexasaur says:
  • Available in black, white, or shiny gold, these ceramic pigs from Japan’s I.D.E.A. feature a full-range speaker in their bellies. Its tail also functions as the connector for your media player. The I.D.E.A. Pig Speakers are currently available only in Japan for 4,725 Yens (around ).

Google. it's suprising what you might find. says:
  • uhmmm when will this be in US?!?!?! <3

    kaka says:
  • oh I LOVE cute portable speakers and a golden pig is JUST what I need 😀

Shame the speaker is on the belly though? wouldn’t that hinder the sound a touch?

either way, it’s cuteness overrides its function and I still want 10
