the incheon international design awards 2010 competition organized by designboom in collaboration with incheon metropolitan city, south korea received entries from over 4000 participants in a call for fresh and sustainable designs that aim to change our daily city living.

grand prize: ‘sang.stone.road’ by thomas kosbau + andrew wetzler from usa

second prizes: ‘c-water’ by chao gao from china ‘spiral garden system’ by benet dalmau + saida dalmau + anna julibert + carmen villar from spain

third prizes: ‘re;energy’ by jin sik kim + bo sung seo from korea ‘ecooler’ by mey kahn + boaz kahn from israel ‘water vapor’ by sang-wook park + sin-jeong lee + ho-young lee + heyon-ju jo from korea

the iida 2010 awards ceremony and opening of the exhibition will be held on the 18th of november 2010 at the songdo convensia in incheon, korea. the winning entries will also be exhibited until 21st of november 2010 at the incheon international design fair, a worldly design festival which takes place at the songdo convensia.
