the ‘jupitris‘ AC adapter was created by japanese designer jin kuramoto for iida, a japanese phone accessory company that seeks to return a human element to its products. meant to prevent the hassle of tangled wires during travel, the device features a retractable cord with a conventional microUSB port at one end, plugging into most smartphones. ‘jupitris’ took three years from the concept stage to production.
