IKEA releases limited-edition rainbow shopping bag in celebration of pride month

starting june 1, IKEA US will be selling a limited-edition rainbow version of its trademark kvanting shopping bag, as part of its partnership with the human rights campaign foundation (HRCF). created in celebration of pride month, and to help raise funds and awareness for the HRCF, the bag will be available to purchase in-store only, while all profits will go to the foundation’s programs that support LGBT+ children, youth and families.

to celebrate pride month, IKEA US has partnered with the human rights campaign foundation, the educational branch of the nation’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people (LGBT+). all profits of the rainbow-colored kvanting shopping bag, which retails for $3.99, will go to support HRCF’s causes, which include innovative training and direct consultation with schools, child welfare agencies and other service providers working to build welcoming, and affirming and supportive school and communities for lgbt+ youth and their families.
