  • I had to come back and comment again as it occurred to me that the henge being destroyed by drunkeness was a little lame – surely it was more likely to be destroyed by the frustration and anger of attempting to put together an item of IKEA furniture (if we can call a henge such) or by the inevitable argument with your girlfriend in the store carpark.

  • Well in fact it’s true, Stonehenge WAS largely prefabricated, read ‘Solving Stonehenge’ (Thames & Hudson 2008) .
