milan-based designer ilaria innocenti has created the ‘muselet’ collection, a series of four ceramic containers for incipit. made in a combination of different shapes and colors, their outline was influenced by metal cases that are used to stop champagne corks from popping open. the form consists of a carved handle made from steel wire with a copper coating, and the containers were constructed by turning them on a mechanical wheel, and coated with lead-free glaze in the colors cool gray, dove gray, cherry, apricot, and then finished on the inside with food-safe glass.

the muselet collection was on display during milan design week, 2014.
