‘ola table’, created by swedish design studio akka (oskar ternbom and petter danielson) is a portable, foldable table.

shown first at the stockholm furniture fair 2010 and now at imm cologne 2011, it shared top honors with harry thaler’s pressed chair in this year’s international [D3] competition for young designers, and is currently in pre-production.

to transport or store, the table’s legs fold inward and its top down so that it is flat. the modular design makes the piece easily adaptable to a range of spaces and needs.

  • most impressive! very good design and use of shape!

Some little improvement on the artistic part would be apreciated.

    gimmy says:
  • I guess the design is all about the locking hook-device.
