‘inwhite’ & ‘inblue’ reinterpret the blue and white porcelain that’s been a rörstrand tradition for nearly 300 years. the two collections, designed by swedish monica förster design studio, are comprised of a bowl, pasta bowl, dinner and side plates, a large serving dish, and a mug. a thorough study formed the basis of the items, which eventually concluded in timeless pieces adapted to modern eating and living habits.

for ‘inblue’, blue pigment seeps and spreads over the wares in a characteristic rörstrand manner, adding a dash of personality to each item. the color is influenced by the unspoiled nature of sweden, and represented with a vibrant midnight blue. ‘inwhite’ pays tribute to blanche, a classic rörstrand design dating back to the 1930s. straight, clean lines combine to produce a softly rounded appearance as the dishes float on the table. a discreet R is placed on the side of each piece, proudly proclaiming its origin with a seal of quality.
