international design biennale RE F O R M has opened its doors to innovative upcoming designers. ten countries are represented in the 20 works, which were selected by an international jury. the exhibition features experimental design works, such as a silicone carpet with walls and a broom made of brass and horse hair.

the biennale questions the existing and gives room for experiments and innovation within design, architecture, art, and craft. ‘it is all about focusing on the process without being limited my predetermined functions, forms or categories,’ says maria bruun, furniture designer and one of the founders of RE F O R M design biennale. ‘RE F O R M is a platform to stop somewhere between the beginning and the end, where new functions, forms, materials, and processes appear. design needs to evolve – like everything else around us.’

the works, which are featured both inside and outside, are selected by a professional jury and held at ‘munkeruphus’ exhibition space in dronningmølle, denmark — the home and workplace of one the most versatile and innovative designers and artists of the 20th century, gunnar aagaard andersen. ру found it essential to explore new methods and materials and exceed the limits of design and art.
