jaime hayón presents catch lounge chair for &tradition at imm cologne 2017
following &tradition’s ‘catch’ chair by jaime hayón in 2012, the danish furniture brand and spanish designer have joined forces again at imm cologne 2017, announcing the latest edition to the family: the ‘catch lounge’ chair.
imm cologne: following the success of &tradition’s ‘catch’ chair by jaime hayón which was first released back in 2012, the danish furniture brand and spanish designer have joined forces again, announcing the latest edition to the family: the ‘catch lounge’ chair. with its outstretched arms, the chair, much like its predecessors, greets you with a warm, welcoming hug that clearly reflects hayón’s humour and personification. unlike the other versions, this piece features a much higher back and an elongated seat, made in a singular shell and supported by a metal armature.

introduced at &tradition’s stand at the imm cologne 2017, the ‘catch lounge’ chair continues to reflect the forms of the human body. however this time, jaime hayón has angled the ergonomic seat in order to create a more leisurely shell shape. this enables the users to more comfortably sit down, relax, and lounge.
