spanish designer jaime hayon has developed the ‘lounger’ for BD barcelona, a lounge chair with a hood and optional foot rest. a part of hayon’s ‘showtime’ collection, the piece emphasizes a contrast between monocolor finishes and high quality upholstered fabric and leather. the structure is manufactured using painted bent tubular steel with a micro-textured finish, and as a result, demonstrates a modern, yet classic interpretation of an armchair.
