after an international call from TON, jaroslav jurica designs the chair oo2 to mark their 150th anniversary of bentwood production in bystřice pod hostýnem, czech republic. the winning concept interconnects the old and reliable bentwood technology with a new approach and design solution. however, it keeps the most important values at the heart of the brand’s production methods at the same time.

the chair 002 realizes a shift in simplicity. instead of the many different parts of a typical bentwood chair, jaroslav jurica’s design reduces the stem-bent pieces to just two elements – the legs and back/armrests – which are based on the same mold.
