jarrod lim at singapore furniture fair

following his success of the 2009 installation for platform, singaporean designer jarrod lim was once again selected to design this year’s installation. reminiscent of school days hundreds of paper planes were hung from the ceiling and placed along the exterior of the booth.

platform is a young talent zone at the IFFS (international furniture fair singapore), which is initiated by the SFIC (singapore furniture industries council).

his installation continues along the FDA merit award booth, where both of his projects – the ‘koi’ chair and the ‘hi ho’ rocking chair received a honorable mention in the open category of the fair’s FDA merit award.
