the padded chairs are made using shirter’s ‘big goose down jacket‘. there was no problem with the functionality of the coats, they simply did not all sell. instead of them going to waste, jinyeong yeon has given them a new purpose and a new value.

the seoul-based designer has used the goose down of the puffer jackets to pad the seats, so you get that same cozy feeling when you sit down. the garment’s waterproof material covers the chairs and details of the original product, such as pockets and sewing lines, have all been retained to give the chair individuality and to create an honest material expression.
