jiyoun kim studio introduces minimalist chair collection with 52 degree angled legs

seoul-based jiyoun kim studio introduces the ’52 degree’ new collection of minimalist chairs. as the title suggests, the design is shaped with a set of characteristic 52 degree angled legs. consisting only of circles and lines, the simple structure blends seamlessly with surroundings, yet establishing a prominent presence.

 jiyoun kim’s collection is divided into various types of chairs from dining and bar chairs, stools, benches, and more, by replacing the seat plate. the legs are made by bending the pill-shaped metal pipe, sustaining the low weight and durability. through minimal usage of metal and processing, the ’52 degree’ collection was designed with the goal of reducing manufacturing costs to a reasonable level, and aiming to fit into a modern environment.
