‘janus’ is a series of candleholders whose forms accommodates both standard taper and tea light candles to be used interchangeably. a simple vertical flip allows users to utilize whichever glittering light they wish. the ‘janus’ line is made from hand turned solid steel, and weighs in at nearly ten pounds. the weight emphasizes joe doucet x partners’ commitment to quality and durability. a modern heirloom, ‘janus’ will be passed down from generation to generation.
