‘simple chair’

‘simple chair’ designed by italian JVLT/ joevelluto studio in collaboration with e. antonello, is part of a new series called ‘OUT/OR’ by PLUST collection. this stackable sitting unit declares its simplicity through its discreet presence and ease of use. it is made from PE resin and manufactured using a roto-moulding process. a hole located on the seat duals both as a handle facilitating easy indoor and outdoor transport , and also functions as a water drain during rainy seasons.

the collection consisting of chairs, tables, lamps and vases draws its forms and function from archetypes such as mushrooms, dew drops, flowers found in the natural landscape. the ‘OUT/OR’ furniture series, including the ‘simple chair’ will be exhibited at milan design week in april 2010.
