‘kaleidoscope chocolates’ by la grande epicerie de paris bon marche

this year once again, la grande epicerie de paris joined daniel mercier chocolatier to develop a collection of chocolates. the project entitled ‘kaleidoscope’ proposes to revisit easter in a geometrical and colored way, using three traditional subjects: a rabbit, hen, and fish. each being handmade, the design of the chocolates require extensive amounts of time to produce asthey are guided by geometrical graph typologies. the mould was conceived in three dimension, translated into a machined aluminum matrice before being applied intoa thermoformage form. for final color application, the final pieces are dipped into baths of tinted chocolate.
