I love the bold use of colors which compliment the geometry of the overall form. So lovely!
I agree with Karl McDermont. The Doshi Levien sofa is gorgeous, but the only thing I see that they really share is a penchant for unconventionally shaped pillows and fun textile combinations.
Anyway, the design looks great and I absolutely adore this idea of the floating backrest/wall.
No matter what a designer does, there is always another designer who
claims the copyrights. It’s ridiculous. Most sofas resemble each other.
LOOK AT THEM: These two seaters have not much in common.
Karim’s has a high back that touches the ground and armrests are attached to it,
Doshi Levien’s has thousands of legs, etc…
