a cloud with the sun behind / or illuminated smoke – is kazuhiro’s most recent light project. designed especially for the designboom stand with the ‘100%tiles’ exhibition at 100% design in london, september 2004. the ‘cloud-fibre’ around the light bulb is made of DuPont ™ Nomex®, a fiber with an extraordinary combination of high-performance heat- and flame-resistant properties, as well as superior textile characteristics.
