amsterdam based, khodi feiz, has collaborated with swedese to create the ‘amstelle’ series of furniture. the collection creates a distinctive and clear signature consisting of chairs and poufs, addressing the needs of the modern office and other public and private environments, from meeting and collaborative spaces to lounge and in-between zones. additionally, most of the elements are also ideal for a domestic setting.

the range by khodi feiz includes the design of flexible poufs, allowing for various sitting postures and ideal for ‘in-between spaces’. the initial inspiration for ‘amstelle’ was a certain fluidity and flow, reminiscent of meandering rivers, especially the amstel in the netherlands, giving the distinctive signature to this family.

for the construction of the pieces, feiz utilizes the one of a kind wood moulding techniques perfected by swedese as the genesis for this evolving family of essential furniture. the form of the timber results in a beautiful organic shape, which perfectly complements the soft, muted and earthy toned chairs and poufs. in addition to the wooden finish, the chairs are also availble in metal for a more office-like environment.
