russian interior design firm kidz design was challenged with creating a modern bank’s office while using the least possible bank-related elements and equipment. located in the ground floor of a residential building in moscow, the ‘space for the future’ is an open floor plan featuring large picture windows and high ceilings in the main space. so the designers attempted to bring in vibrancy to the office and an appealing aesthetic to be seen through the windows.

the architects divided the large space in three distinct areas, to offer more privacy when needed. the first large open space includes the coffee counter, meeting tables and networking areas for the presentation of new services. the second space is a small conference room and the third, an area for the service managers.
the bank was undergoing a rebranding and changed its colors for a more modern look inspiring the designers. they created interiors that embody this transformation and immerse the employees in the new hues. the gradient-colored walls attempt to create a more relaxed and less bureaucratic atmosphere than other banks, for visitors and clients to have a welcoming experience.
to break the conventional bank offices, kidz design made the space as open, boundary-free and comfortable as possible. all in a neutral palette, the subtle furniture does not distract from the wall’s vibrant colors, but rather complements them in creating a lighter space. the green-to-light grey gradient fills the office, energizing the space while keeping it soothing and inviting, an ideal atmosphere for the bank’s employees and clients.
