finland and taiwan based design studio KIMU has rethought the traditional clock, allowing one to repurpose their most cherished possessions into artifacts that can metaphorically transcend time. an elegant baseplate, which also acts as the minute hand, is at the center of the ‘twirl timepiece‘ and rotates in a smooth 360 spin.

a small translucent cover made of glass is placed over the clock and with every minute passed, the possession moves with time. under the glass cloche lays the possibility for cherished possessions that will serve as a reminder that time is never lost, but remains in the objects that are precious to us.
