konstantin grcic‘s hack seems to function like a forklift-type extension which sits at the back of smart‘s all-electric EQ fortwo. the car’s interior has been transformed to accomodate the equipment for operating the lifting platform which can be raised when used for DJ-ing.

the car concept, which is disappointingly only a one-off model and will not be for sale, takes off from smart’s links with club culture and is inspired by the idea of drawing people together. it has been realised with the help of smart’s audio partner JBL who engineered a custom sound system for the car including subwoofer box located in the trunk.
