conceived in homage to danish design, norse projects have collaborated with kvadrat, vault by vans and fritz hansen for ‘stoflighed’, a collection of high-end sneakers. danish textile producer kvadrat have supplied tundra and tonica fabrics to re-outfit vans era and chukka models, which are selected for their rich hues and textural, tactile qualities. to accompany the footwear series, upholstered PK80 day beds and PK91 folding stools by architect poul kjærholm’s are canvassed in kvadrat fabrics. featured in a selection of blues, reds and natural tones, the sneaker set will be unveiled during paris design week 2013 at colette, and will become available on the norse projects online store on september 28, 2013.
