‘honeycomb lamp’

the work of japanese design studio kyouei design ltd. (kouichi okamoto) was featured in designboom’s ‘asia now‘ exhibition at dwell on design in los angeles.

‘honeycomb lamp’

made out of denguri paper, the fold-out lampshade can surround any light bulb and socket, producing a honeycomb pattern when fully open.
