the ‘reconstruction lamp’ by japanese designer kouichi okamoto from kyouei design ltd is a lamp remade from an industrial clip lamp. the original was dismantled, pressed in a mold and then gilded for finishing. the clip acts as the lamp’s stand, which can be used for both self support (stand lamp) and locking (clip lamp).
