
lanzavecchia + wai grows retro PLAYplay collection for journey east
PLAYplay includes six new pieces of furniture that reflect the light-hearted asian spirit of the designers’ first collaboration with the addition of new materials, shapes and colors.
design duo francesa lanzavecchia and hunn wai of lanzavecchia + wai along with one of singapore’s favorite furniture stores, journey east, present their latest retro furniture collection PLAYplay — a series of colorful, bold, playful and simultaneously contemporary furniture. it includes six new pieces of furniture that reflect the light-hearted asian spirit of the designers’ first PLAYplay collaboration with the addition of new materials, shapes and colors.

lanzavecchia + wai’s PLAYplay series with furniture giant journey east feature pieces made of a light-hued oak, although the indonesian mahogany of the first collection is also offered as an option. the furniture is designed in both singapore and italy but crafted in south east asia, which boasts an overwhelming amount of rich colors and flavors.
