lee west has recently introduced three exclusive items to his lee west objects collection: a corkscrew, bottle opener and rollerball pen — all crafted in brass. these new accessories follow the same modernist/artisanal approach of the first collection, which were produced in vienna at the carl auböck workshop.

the lee west objects collection is in fact a collaboration between the designer and the carl auböck workshop that produces high-quality home objects. created in harmony with the materials and techniques of the workshop, each object is offered a distinct final hand crafted result. the collection is also produced in small quantities, ensuring true exclusivity.

00 corkscrew

the 00 corkscrew is made from thick brass and can be worn like a ring for extra pulling force. the product itself is made from black teflon- coated steel,  providing smooth piercing of corks and easy removal.

sunset bottle opener

a minimal object evoking sunset, this bottle opener is made from naval brass. the sunset form has been perfected for efficient leverage of bottle caps. the reverse side of the opener is hand filed to provide the right texture & an extra grip.

cane & brass pen

inspired by technical writing tools, the cane & brass pen offers an artisanal equivalent. it is lathed from solid brass with front-end weight for a pleasurable writing experience. the front section is gently hand filed for extra grip, and the polished back section sits comfortably on the hand. the product uses space pen refill technology, allowing writing in every imaginable condition and never drying out. the vintage cane cap is specially toasted and oiled at the workshop.
