‘heimlicht’ by german designer leoni werle combines the concept of a work surface with a light source into one piece of furniture. the oversized lampshade enables its user to cover the entire work surface and in doing so, conceal all their personal belongings. alternatively, the lighting unit, when raised, can be used to create a space in which one can work without being disturbed. ‘heimlicht’ seeks to provide a retreat and place to work for public and domestic environments.
