the newest iteration of ‘peak machine of neaten cards’

Peak Machine of Neaten Cards is the third collaborative creation of designer Li Tian with Treyo and ziihome. This Chinese-style mahjong machine combines traditional cultural elements with modern technology to create a durable, easy to use, and sleek product tailored to contemporary needs. Drawing inspiration from Chinese furniture, its form showcases sleek lines and metal accents that exemplify modern oriental aesthetics, merging the robustness of metal with the warmth and delicacy of solid ash wood.

In its functionality, the design concept culminated with user-centric elements that enhance the playing experience. The arc-shaped bezel contours to the user’s arm, preventing diaphragm contact and discomfort during use. The drawer is designed with a reverse structure, housing a handle with a U-shaped opening that embodies an elegant and compact design finish. Additionally, the wooden functional cover serves dual purposes, effectively keeping the mahjong tiles dust-free when not in use, while also transforming into a convenient table for dining.

li tian fuses oriental charm with contemporary living

Noticing the evolving furniture preferences of everyday Chinese households, Li Tian envisioned a product that aligns with the modern quest for bright and transparent indoor spaces. With a growing inclination towards lightweight, warm, and luminous furniture, traditional mahjong machines appeared cumbersome in comparison. As such, the main objective of Peak Machine of Neaten Cards was to deliver a lightweight design while preserving its innate oriental charm.

To achieve this, the designer opted for lightweight stainless steel and light-colored ash wood, enlivened with accents of gray paint. Distinguishing this model from the previous iterations are the distinctly shaped steel legs formed through a one-piece bending technique resulting in a streamlined curve. To ensure optimal stability, the metal bracket employs solid 10mm thick stainless steel.

the mahjong table integrates modern technology

Peak Machine of Neaten Cards is powered by the T4 movement from Treyo, integrating the most technologically advanced movement in the industry. This guarantees enhanced safety, reduced noise levels, and heightened comfort. Equipped with a self-developed silent noise reduction motor, the T4 movement has passed 100,000 running tests in laboratory conditions, affirming its power and smooth operation.

Further, Li Tian’s integrations of PTC heating and dehumidification functions efficiently remove moisture from the surfaces of the mahjong tiles. To ensure safety for users, the entire machine employs all-copper wires, eliminating any potential hazards at their source. This movement has also passed the IAF international quality certification.
