one of the most important architects of 20th century brazil, bo bardi applied her vision to different fields of architecture and design including buildings, interiors, furniture and more. the estudio d’arte palma collection features mostly chairs, armchairs, tables and desks, each of which is designed for a specific purpose, combining creativity and everyday function.

the various objects nilufar depot exhibited show visitors lina bo bardi’s passion for experimenting with materials and shapes, giving her creations a very special meaning and use. mediating between her traditional italian architectural education and desire for innovative and surprising design, bo bradi created unique pieces which still boast an original, unexpected image and thoughtful functionality.
