london design festival 08 preview: jonas wagell

‘symbiosis’ table lamp uses a cluster of LED bulbs in a design which play hommage to the candle stick

swedish designer jonas wagell is on a bit of a roll lately. to begin with, he was named one of the top 50 young architects by wallpaper magazine. then more recently, wagell won the 100% futures competition meaning he was given a 60m sq. exhibit space at this year’s 100% design london. at his stand, wagell will be transforming the space into a small swedish house lot with a lawn, apple tree and his prefab housing project mini house. he will also be showcasing a number of his new products including the ‘bold’ wall clock, ‘boxer’ storage system and the ‘symbiosis’ table lamp.
