lorenzo palmeri brings the quartz and marble that stone italiana is known for to life with ‘livingstone’. the family of life-size sculptures that take on the shape of animals are at once the exhibitors as well as the first-hand players, narrating the history of the company and the materials, finishes and colors that it has to offer. each formed by slabs of natural stone, they pay tribute to the strength and courage of explorers and experimenters, ‘livingstone’ creates a scenario of a jungle, encourage the public to engage with the creatures in a tactile experience.
