  • just wondering – what is “methacrylate steel” supposed to be? 😀

    niq says:
  • I was wondering the same thing, I couldn’t find any hits on google or wikipedia. Maybe they mean the steel is glued to the handle with a methacrylate-based adhesive?

    Jared says:
  • I think it means they painted them (or what ever process it is) black.

    IdeaStormerJorge says:
  • Methacrylate is a general group. Mono-, Poly-, Mono-Poly-, Co-Poly-, etc, etc, are differing types of methacrylates.

Plexi-glass is an example of one type. the coating on the knives is another.

Unless you’re a chemistry major, it’s pretty boring stuff, but there is plenty of information available.

    Overly Technically Accurate Dick says:
  • where i can find it ? i am living in puerto rico . there is web site to buy it ?
