the most important representatives from the construction and building industry exhibited at made expo in milan, italy from february 4th to 6th, 2009. the fair was showing a global perspective of the industry, from project planning to construction,services and technological solutions, via materials and finishes, while maintaining the specific features of each individual segment, and was an immediate success on the construction market,comprising designers and industry specialists.

the renown italian company olivari, producer of high-end doorhandles showed ‘fin’, a new form designed by the japanese architect toyo ito. ‘fin’ for toyo ito represents the essential features of a slow and repetitive movement, just like the one of entering and leaving a room. the rigour comes from the wise art of ‘removing’, toyo ito proposes an essential sign, which is his idea of simplicity.

fin‘ is available for doors, both with rosette and plate, for cremorne bolt and equipped with the DK safety system. it is made of brass.

olivari offers it in the following versions: bright bio-chrome; satined bio-chrome, bright supergold and satined supernickel
