‘discover infiniti by sound’ by marko blagojevic for the infinit digital art competition



congratulations to all those who entered in our INFINITI DIGITAL ART COMPETITION: curved visions. the second phase is coming to an end and the jury has selected the shortlisted entries. with the success of the first INFINITI DIGITAL ART COMPETITION: inspired performance, designboom is pleased to begin to publish some of the participants, with the winning designs being announced april 2013.





‘discover infiniti by sound’ developed by serbian designer marko blagojevic and software engineer nikola okiljevic, is an interactive, audio-video installation, executed with 3D video mapping. original sounds are previously recorded which are taken from around and inside the vehicle such as, unlocking the door, starting an engine, and a window sliding down. each tone corresponds to its own curved line where the tablet acts as an instrument for the user. when a button is pressed a resonance is heard which then produces an image onto the exterior of the car. it creates an authentic real time animation where one can choose the color of the outlines showcasing the power and dynamics of the contour. at the end of the session one can share the experience through social networks.
